Actor Aishwarya Lekshmi is currently promoting her recent Netflix series #Love alongside producer Soundarya Rajinikanth and co-star Arjun Das. It has been a little more than a year since she decided to quit social media in September 2025. Speaking on The Puja Talwar Show on YouTube, she stated that she is much more at peace now than she was when she was posting online.

Life After Quitting

Aishwarya said that she is happy with her life as it is right now and things are falling in place. She acknowledged that the reasons why she made the decision to get out of social media still prevail in certain quantities, but she is at least not watching it constantly and getting affected by things like that. For a long time, she believed that social media was needed to keep her in the game and move with the times. She wrote when quitting that the medium had reverse-UNO-ed and made her cater to it, distracting her from work and research, taking away original thoughts, affecting vocabulary, and making simpler pleasures joyless. At the same time, she acknowledged that creators now hold the power to showcase their talent and build themselves, citing the example of influencer Hashir starring in the high-earning Kerala film Vaazha 2.

Upcoming Projects

Aishwarya starred in Gatta Kusthi 2 and Aasha this year. Her current series #Love is streaming on Netflix, and she will soon star in the Telugu film SYG - Sambarala Yeti Gattu.

Context
