JSW MG Motor India has launched the 2026 Hector Storm Series, featuring new Blackstorm and Snowstorm special editions priced at Rs 19,99,800 ex-showroom, marking a Rs 35,000 premium over the top-spec Savvy Pro CVT variants. Both limited-run models come exclusively as five-seater petrol automatics, powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque paired with a CVT gearbox, with no manual transmission option available.

Exterior And Interior Styling

The Blackstorm edition wears an all-black finish, while the Snowstorm pairs a white body with a contrasting Starry Night roof. Both models feature a new Storm Hex grille, dark chrome detailing on brand logos and skid plates, and Aura Storm Blade alloy wheels with red brake calipers. Piano-black roof rails, smoked connected tail lamps, and blacked-out LED headlamp bezels complete the look. Inside, both versions offer Nimbus Black interiors with black leather upholstery, dark cabin accents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a gunmetal finish, and edition-specific embossing on the front headrests.

Features And Safety

The equipment list includes a 14-inch portrait HD touchscreen with Smart Boost processing and i-SWIPE gesture controls, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and an air purifier with a PM2.5 filter. MG's i-SMART system brings over 70 connected-car features, alongside a Digital Bluetooth Key with key-sharing. Safety features include ADAS, a 360-degree HD camera with Wheel View, ABS, EBD, ESP, and Hill Hold Control. Buyers also get a complimentary Storm Series accessory package fitted at dealerships, including side steps and red-accented ORVM protectors.

Context

Car makers frequently launch limited-edition styling variants to boost demand during festive or key selling periods without altering the core platform of an existing vehicle. Special editions typically combine pre-existing top-tier features with cosmetic upgrades to attract buyers looking for a distinct visual identity.
