Kawasaki teases updated Ninja H2
Reported by Pooja Nair (Section Editor) · Autocar India ·
Kawasaki appears to be bringing back the most powerful Ninja H2, a model that was discontinued in the UK in 2021 due to Euro 5 regulations. The original H2, launched at EICMA 2014, produced 228hp and had a hyperbike-like stance with a kerb weight of 238kg. A lower-powered engine, shared with the Z H2 super-naked, is expected to be used in the new model, producing 197hp. The updated Ninja H2 will likely debut at EICMA 2026, just like its predecessor. In India, Kawasaki hasn't revealed any plans to bring the updated H2, despite the company previously offering a sports-tourer version of the H2 platform, the Ninja H2 SX SE, which was removed from the website in July. The new model's design and weight will be closely watched as it is expected to drop some kilos to become more agile.
