Toyota Glanza facelift to debut on October 14
Reported by Imran Qureshi (Staff Writer) · Autocar India ·
The Toyota Glanza facelift is expected to debut on October 14, about a month after its Maruti sibling, the Baleno facelift, launched. The facelifted Glanza is expected to mirror the changes made to the Baleno facelift, including the new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine produces 83hp and 112Nm, and is expected to come with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an automated manual transmission (AMT). A 70hp CNG option is also expected with a manual transmission option. Exterior changes may include a redesigned grille and a new front bumper, with design differences from the facelifted Baleno. The cabin design is expected to remain the same, but new features such as a Level 2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), ventilated front seats, and a wireless phone charger with ventilation may be added. The facelifted Glanza will also feature a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Prices are expected to be slightly higher than the current model's range of Rs 6.73 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh. The Glanza facelift will continue to compete with other premium hatchbacks like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Altroz, and Hyundai i20.
