VinFast Secures Over 50 Dealer Agreements for Indian Electric Scooter Rollout

VinFast has secured letters of intent with more than 50 dealers to bring its electric scooters to India. ## Launch Plans The company plans to open a network of two‑wheeler showrooms in 15 Indian states and union territories, aiming at roughly 34 major cities that have shown high interest in electric two‑wheelers. While the city list remains confidential, the states include Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and West Bengal. No firm launch date has been announced; the rollout could begin within weeks, around the New Year, or be pushed to 2027. ## Company Background VinFast is new to the Indian market but brings extensive experience from Vietnam, where it leads the electric two‑wheel segment and ranks second among all two‑wheelers. The firm controls over 43 % of Vietnam’s electric two‑wheel market.
