Bajaj will launch an adventure‑motorcycle family in Brazil with more than one engine size, executive director Waldyr Ferreira said. The comment came in a Bill Motoka channel interview where Ferreira said the company is developing several trail‑bike options to meet different rider needs. He noted that the lineup will not be limited to a single displacement and that testing is underway with a focus on competitive specs and value for money. Ferreira recalled earlier remarks from August that prototypes were already in Brazil, that he had ridden one, and that a market debut could arrive before the end of 2026, calling it a Christmas present for waiting customers. While exact capacities were not disclosed, Bajaj’s broad engine portfolio makes 150‑160cc entry models and a 250cc version plausible, with the overall range potentially covering roughly 150cc to 400cc. No official confirmation of specific engine sizes has been given. The strategy fits Brazil’s market, where lightweight trail bikes such as the Honda NXR Bros 160 and Yamaha Crosser 150 dominate the lower segment, while higher‑priced Honda XRE 190, Yamaha Lander 250 and Honda Sahara 300 serve riders seeking more power. Test‑bike images show a front beak, wire‑spoke wheels, fork gaiters, high‑mounted exhaust, a long single‑piece seat, telescopic front forks, rear monoshock and disc brakes front and rear. The name “Trekker,” previously trademarked by Bajaj, could become the production label.
Context
Offering several engine capacities lets Bajaj appeal to both commuters who need low‑cost, easy‑to‑ride bikes and adventure riders who want more power for longer trips, matching the diverse demand seen in Brazil’s dual‑use motorcycle market.
