Skoda plans to showcase the new Sportline variant of its smallest electric vehicle, the Epiq, at the Paris Motor Show scheduled for October 13 to 18, 2026. This model will serve as the main attraction at the company stall, which features 14 other vehicles in total.

Design And Specs

While the official teaser hides most details, the Sportline version typically features a dark cosmetic theme for both the outside and inside. Exterior updates are expected to cover the alloy wheels, outside rear-view mirrors, bumpers, and the roof. Inside, the cabin will likely feature dark upholstery with contrast stitching and a matching dark dashboard. The vehicle builds on the Volkswagen Group MEB+ platform that powers the standard Epiq. The standard car offers two battery choices sized at 38.5kWh and 55kWh, paired with front-mounted motors. Power ranges from 116hp on the base 35 variant up to 211hp on the top-spec 55 version, with torque figures spanning 267Nm to 290Nm. Skoda estimates a driving range of 310km for the smaller battery and 440km for the larger pack, with the Sportline trim likely tied to the top-tier 55 setup.

Other Models

Alongside the Epiq, Skoda will display its full EV lineup, including the Elroq and the Peaq. The classic Skoda 130 RS race car from the late 1970s and early 1980s will also appear at the event. Another notable exhibit is the Peaq Tour de France 'Red Car', a modified mobile command unit built on the Peaq Sportline that features six antennas, warning lights, and a hidden champagne fridge.

Context

Car makers often use major international events like the Paris Motor Show to introduce bold new trims and connect with buyers through heritage models. Special editions help keep existing vehicle lineups fresh and draw crowds to brand exhibition spaces.
