Jeep’s limited‑edition Wrangler Whitecap Mojito now carries an ex‑showroom price of Rs 73.55 lakh, a Rs 1.25 lakh premium over the standard Wrangler Rubicon, and the entire Indian allocation of 25 vehicles has been sold. The model wears an exclusive bright‑green ‘Mojito’ paint finish with a contrasting white roof, a white‑surrounded grille, body‑coloured fenders and a white ‘4 Wheel Drive’ badge on the boot lid, while the side panels display ‘1941’ decals referencing the debut year of the original Willys MB Jeep. Inside, the only new features are a factory‑installed dash‑cam and reinforced grab handles; all other equipment matches the Rubicon, including a 12.3‑inch infotainment screen, 12‑way powered front seats, ADAS suite, six airbags, dual‑zone climate control, a 9‑speaker Alpine sound system with subwoofer and a 7‑inch driver display. Under the hood, the Whitecap Mojito shares the Rubicon’s 2.0‑litre four‑cylinder direct‑injection turbo‑petrol engine that delivers 272 hp and 400 Nm, coupled to an 8‑speed automatic and a permanent 4×4 system, while off‑road hardware such as heavy‑duty Dana axles, an integrated off‑road camera, reinforced suspension, rock rails, 255‑section tyres on 17‑inch wheels and high‑clearance fender flares remain unchanged. Kumar Priyesh, business head and director – Automotive Brands at Stellantis India, said the strong customer interest may prompt Jeep to explore bringing the Whitecap edition back to India in the future. ## Context Limited‑edition models like the Whitecap Mojito are produced in small batches to create exclusivity, and strong demand often leads manufacturers to consider a repeat run or a new special version.
