BusinessPrestige Estates reports 20 percent jump in second quarter sales bookings

Realty firm Prestige Estates Projects Limited saw its sales bookings rise by 20 per cent to ₹7,225 crore for the quarter that ended in September 2026. The Bengaluru-based company pointed to strong housing demand, particularly for large branded builders, as the main driver behind this growth. In a regulatory filing, the firm stated that its residential business recorded pre-sales of ₹72,250 million during the second quarter of financial year 2027. This translated to a sales volume of 5.84 million square feet and a total of 3,910 units sold.

First Half Performance

For the first half of the fiscal year, the company registered pre-sales of ₹13,804.3 crore. During this six-month period, the total sales volume reached 11.88 million square feet with 7,247 units finding buyers. Irfan Razack, the chairman and managing director of Prestige Group, noted that the residential sector continues to see healthy demand. He added that the response to new launches introduced near the end of the quarter was particularly encouraging. Ongoing projects also maintained strong sales, which the company says shows that the underlying demand for housing remains solid.

Context

Prestige Estates is among India's major real estate developers, building residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and township projects across multiple cities. Up to June 2026, the group has completed 319 projects covering 216 million square feet and holds a pipeline of 137 projects spanning 229 million square feet. Real estate firms often track pre-sales figures closely as an early indicator of future revenue and buyer demand.
