Maserati India is bringing three updated luxury cars to the country on October 30, just over four months after their worldwide release. The launch includes the Grecale SUV, the GranTurismo coupe, and the GranCabrio convertible, all featuring new engine updates, light exterior changes, and extra features. A track-focused car named the Maserati GT2 Stradale will also be shown at the same time.
Engine and Power Updates
Both the GranTurismo and GranCabrio keep using the 3-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine. The Modena variant makes 490 horsepower, while the Trofeo variant makes 590 horsepower. The top-spec Trofeo now has 40 more horsepower than before, which comes from higher turbo boost pressure and small engine changes. Their 8-speed automatic gearboxes are also updated to react faster.
Drive Modes and Features
All versions come with all-wheel drive and air suspension as standard fittings. Maserati has added a new Country drive mode to handle rough roads better. This mode raises the car body by 25 millimetres when driving at speeds up to 120 kilometres per hour.
Context
Luxury car brands often bring their latest global updates to India shortly after international releases to keep up with demand in the growing high-end vehicle market. These updates usually focus on fine-tuning engine power and adding modern drive settings to make high-performance cars easier to use on everyday roads.
