Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, stated that the device reached the top spot on the list of Android flagship devices launched this year based on similar first-week sales figures. The company has not shared comparable first-hour sales numbers for the OnePlus 15. The device is sold through the Oppo online store in China, while an India launch date remains unannounced.

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,272 by 2,772 pixels. The display supports a refresh rate up to 165 Hz for general tasks and up to 185 Hz for supported games, alongside a peak local brightness of 2,000 nits. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor paired with ColorOS 17 on Android 17. The handset includes IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance.

Camera and Connectivity

The rear camera setup includes a 200 MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50 MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. A 50 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The device supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0, and reports note it may miss out on some overseas markets after the company reportedly pulled out of Europe and North America.
