Gold, Silver Futures Gain as Oil Falls Ahead of Fed Decision

MCX gold October futures were up 0.57% at ₹1,51,667 per 10 grams around 9:10 AM. MCX silver December contracts rose 1.31% to ₹2,35,159 per kilogram at the same time. Internationally, US gold futures for December delivery gained 1.3% to $4,381.65 per troy ounce, supported by the drop in oil prices that eased the US dollar and 10‑year bond yields. Crude oil fell about 1%, capping the upward move in precious metals.
