UPDATE - follow-up to NSE allots shares worth $703 million to anchor investors ahead of IPO, sources say: The National Stock Exchange of India has raised Rs 6,746 crore from 189 anchor investors before its public share sale. Large investors like LIC, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs took part in this round. The exchange gave shares to these investors at Rs 1,785 each, which is a high premium. The full public offer will open for everyone on September 17. Through this public share sale, the exchange aims to raise a total of Rs 22,561 crore as an offer for sale.
