NSE raises Rs 6,746 crore from anchor investors before share sale

The National Stock Exchange of India raised Rs 6,746 crore from 189 anchor investors ahead of its public share sale. Large investors like LIC, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs took part in this round. The exchange gave shares to these investors at Rs 1,785 per share. The upcoming public offering is an offer for sale by current shareholders and opens for public bidding on September 17. The total size of this public issue aims to raise Rs 22,561 crore.
