SRK watches Dhurandhar The Revenge a day before release at Salman Khan's theatre

Shah Rukh Khan viewed the sequel Dhurandhar The Revenge a day before it hit theatres, according to a source from his team. The private screening was arranged by director Aditya Dhar at a preview theatre owned by Salman Khan. SRK attended with his wife and children, and filmmaker Karan Johar was also present, though the source could not confirm Salman Khan's attendance. After the film, SRK told Dhar he loved both parts and praised the whole team, a comment that left Dhar visibly moved. The news emerged during SRK's Ask SRK session on X, his first such interaction in nearly 10½ months. Fans cheered his witty answers and his update on the upcoming film King. When asked if he had seen Dhurandhar, SRK responded, “Loved both the parts…fantastic by the whole team!!!” The same theatre earlier hosted Salman Khan’s rough cut of his upcoming movie Maatrubhumi for industry veterans including Subhash Ghai, David Dhawan, Sooraj Barjatya, Kabir Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Rumy Jafry, Siddharth Roy Kapur, director Apoorva Lakhia and co‑star Chitrangda Singh. Dhurandhar The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. The plot follows an Indian spy who infiltrates Pakistan and a Karachi gang, climbs the ranks and creates havoc.
