Hyundai unveils design sketches for upcoming Bayon SUV
Reported by Vivek Joshi (Copy Editor) · Autocar India ·
Hyundai announced the Bayon name earlier this month. Hyundai has unveiled the first exterior and interior sketches of its upcoming midsize Bayon SUV, just weeks after confirming the model’s name. The concept follows Hyundai’s Art of Steel design language, featuring sculpted surfaces and sharp character lines on the body. Inside, the cabin mirrors the layout of the newly launched third‑generation i20, with a similar dashboard and infotainment placement. Hyundai says the Bayon will launch during the festive season and will be offered with a 1.5‑litre petrol engine as well as a CNG variant. No pricing details have been released yet, and production locations were not disclosed.
