Cinépolis will distribute the Hindi film Om Ka Hari, starring Anshuman Jha and Raghubir Yadav, from September 18. The move follows the success of the earlier Hanuman‑Ansh release and marks the chain’s next major bet on content‑led cinema. Directed by Harish Vyas, the movie blends a spiritually resonant title with a warm family drama‑comedy that centers on the age‑old rivalry between father and son. A strong ensemble cast supports the lead pairing of Yadav and Jha, delivering emotion, humour and a distinctly Indian sensibility. Cinepolis says the film can draw word‑of‑mouth audiences, citing recent hits like Laalo and Hanuman‑Ansh as examples of the model. “At Cinépolis, we believe audiences will always come to cinemas for stories that connect with them. Hanuman‑Ansh proved that, and Om Ka Hari has the ingredients – a universal father‑son bond, warmth, humour and a solid ensemble,” said Devang Sampat, Managing Director of Cinépolis India. The film is produced by First Ray Films and is being watched as a key Hindi title for the trade and exhibition sector.
