Mahindra XUV 7XO earns five star safety rating in latest Bharat NCAP tests

The government hopes this program will help car buyers make more informed purchase decisions. The Mahindra XUV 7XO is the latest vehicle to enter the list of cars crash tested by Bharat NCAP. It emerged from the evaluation with a five-star safety rating. The XUV 7XO scored 30.76 out of 32 points for Adult Occupant Protection. For Child Occupant Protection, it scored 44.97 out of 49 points. Bharat NCAP tested the seven-seater AX7 diesel-automatic front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants of the XUV 7XO. However, the awarded safety rating is applicable across all variants of the model. Standard safety measures included in the vehicle consist of six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-hold assist, hill-descent control, height-adjustable front seatbelts, and ISOFIX child-seat anchors.
