Representative image · PexelsUPDATE - follow-up to 2027 Kawasaki Z650RS launched at Rs 7.83 lakh, gets no mechanical changes: Kawasaki has brought out the 2027 version of the Z650RS motorcycle in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.83 lakh, carrying forward the exact same mechanical setup and parts from the previous year's model. The bike keeps its 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, which pushes out 68 horsepower at 8,000rpm and 64Nm of torque at 6,700rpm, and connects to a six-speed gearbox. Underneath, it uses the same tubular diamond steel frame, telescopic front fork, and horizontal back-link rear suspension. For stopping power, the motorcycle relies on two 300mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc, while Kawasaki Traction Control stays on the feature list. It rolls on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 120/70 front tyres and 160/60 rear tyres. The physical measurements and weight are also untouched, keeping a 12-litre fuel tank, an 800mm seat height, a 1,405mm wheelbase, and a 192kg kerb weight. Styling details continue in a neo-retro design, featuring a round LED headlight, dual-dial instrument console with a multi-function LCD screen, spoke-style cast wheels, and a flat tail section. The price tag for this new model-year release matches the previous 2026 model, which had earlier seen a price increase of Rs 14,000 to reach this same Rs 7.83 lakh mark.
