UPDATE - follow-up to At least 20 killed after war-damaged Gaza building collapses: Eight children are among the 21 people killed after a war-damaged building collapsed overnight in the Gaza Strip, according to local rescuers and medics. Dozens of people remain missing under the rubble. Witnesses told the BBC that the six-storey building was located in the Tal al-Hawa area of Gaza City. The structure had been left tilting dangerously to one side after an Israeli strike hit it more than a year ago. Displaced families were living inside the damaged building because they were desperate. United Nations agencies and an Egyptian team have joined the ongoing search for survivors. Officials report that the rescue effort is proceeding with teams using their bare hands to look for people trapped under the debris.
