Exhibition Launch

Shilpa Shettar inaugurated a four-day jewellery exhibition in Hubballi on Friday at Hotel The Fern Residency. She is the wife of Lok Sabha member and former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar. The event features collections from the C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers, a brand with a 155-year legacy.

Collection and Offers

The showcase presents gold and diamond ornaments, pearls, and precious stones like emeralds and rubies alongside semi-precious gems including turquoise and amethysts. Visitors can view both traditional pieces and modern designs. Store head Suman Maity stated that the event also displays crash.club, a line of lab-grown diamond jewellery that blends modern styles with sustainability. Public relations head Tejas Kalra noted that the display highlights the mix of heritage, craftsmanship, and responsible luxury. Organisers are also providing special discounts during the four-day run, offering two percent off on silver items, four percent off on gold items, and six percent off on diamond items.

Context

Exhibitions by legacy jewellery brands allow regional cities to access high-end craftsmanship without needing to visit flagship stores in major metropolitan areas. Lab-grown diamonds are also gaining popularity in the retail market as a sustainable alternative to mined stones.
