Political groups carry a heavy duty to protect democracy, secularism, social justice, and constitutional values. Indian Union Muslim League State President Panakkad Syed Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal shared this message while starting a two-day Leaders' Meet on Sunday.
Meeting Details
The event took place at the Nakshatra Emerald hotel in Guruvayur and was set up by the Muslim League Thrissur district committee. District President C.A. Mohammed Rasheed chaired the gathering.
Organisational Goals
Mr. Thangal urged political groups to study the current political climate and new social hurdles to build stronger ties at the ground level. He asked groups to push harder for peace and mutual trust among different religious and social communities. Parties must also bring women, youth, and varied social groups into their work by updating their structures and boosting daily efficiency.
Context
Gatherings of this type allow regional party units to review their strategies and plan upcoming community outreach ahead of future political contests. The Indian Union Muslim League is a registered political party with a significant presence in parts of southern India.
