The Central Reserve Police Force has praised a Judo-trained woman officer who showed extreme patience while allegedly facing assault by anti-social elements during recent protests in Delhi. G P Singh, the director general of the paramilitary force, stated that lawful action is being taken by the jurisdictional police regarding the matter. Singh shared on his personal social media handle that the force leadership complimented the personnel for showing extreme patience, perseverance, and resilience even though she is a top judo practitioner and part of the CRPF Judo team. Singh also stated that the force remains committed to peace and order in the country. Protests took place in Delhi on October 10 led by the Cockroach Janta Party, which demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged electoral discrepancies. This protest was followed by a march named 'Lehra Do Tiranga' by the same outfit at Connaught Place on October 16. Hundreds of companies of the CRPF were deployed to handle and check these demonstrations.
