Saif Ali Khan reflects on decades of school meetings and upcoming film projects

Actor Saif Ali Khan recently shared a funny story about attending parent-teacher association meetings for decades during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show with his wife, Kareena Kapoor.

Family and Career

Saif noted that all four of his children have studied at the same school, spanning his life from when he started attending meetings at age 20 up to age 55, while remarking that the teachers have changed but he remains the same. He shares his older children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, with his first wife, actor Amrita Singh, whom he married in 1991 and separated from in 2004. He later married Kareena Kapoor Khan in October 2012 in Mumbai, and the couple has two sons, Taimur and Jehangir. Saif and Kareena previously worked together in films such as LOC Kargil, Omkara, Tashan, Kurbaan, and Agent Vinod, while welcoming sons Taimur in December 2016 and Jeh in February 2021.

Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Saif is preparing for Hum Hindustani, a period drama directed by Rahul Dholakia that looks at the challenges behind India's first democratic election, also starring Pratik Gandhi and Deepak Dobriyal with an unannounced release date. Kareena was last seen in Meghna Gulzar's Daayra, which released in September 2026 alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
