Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Z1100 in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.79 lakh in Delhi, and both bookings and deliveries start today at showrooms across the country. ## Mechanical Details The super-naked motorcycle remains completely unchanged from its predecessor. It features a 1099cc, liquid-cooled, in-line-four-cylinder engine that puts out 136 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. Kawasaki also uses this engine in the Versys 1100 adventure tourer, though in a slightly lower tune of 135 horsepower and 112 Nm. ## Build And Features A tubular diamond frame forms the core of the bike, supported by a 41mm upside-down front fork with 120mm of travel and a rear monoshock with 136mm of travel. The front suspension offers compression and rebound adjustment, while the rear features preload and rebound settings. Stopping power comes from dual 310mm front discs with Kawasaki-branded Brembo hardware and a single 260mm rear disc. Rider aids include a 5-inch TFT screen, a bi-directional quickshifter, corner-sensitive three-level traction control, dual-channel ABS, cruise control, and smartphone connectivity. ## Market Standing The bike weighs 220kg and comes with a 17-litre fuel tank, which helps on long rides while remaining manageable in most conditions. It competes with the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, priced at Rs 13.29 lakh, while Kawasaki's own smaller Z900 sits below it at Rs 9.99 lakh. ## Context High-end motorcycle launches in India often bring globally available big bikes directly to local buyers through imported completely built units or local assembly routes. Premium streetfighter and super-naked models cater to enthusiasts looking for high-displacement engines and advanced electronics packages without the fully faired layout of track-focused sports bikes.
