Security Alert
A threatening email warning about hidden explosives across Gujarat prompted a massive security response from law enforcement agencies. The message specifically mentioned the Somnath Temple, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, ruling party offices, police facilities, and the intelligence agency RAW.
Search Operations
Investigators found no suspicious items after sweeping multiple sites. The Punjab Police first caught the message and immediately warned their counterparts in Gujarat. Officers deployed bomb disposal units, sniffer dogs, and fire teams to check sensitive locations, including the party headquarters in Khanpur and the Kamalam office in Koba.
Investigation
Authorities are now trying to trace who sent the email and figure out if the goal was just to cause panic or if it points to a bigger danger. Officials noted that similar threatening messages were previously sent on September 10 to target schools, the state assembly, and a court.
