Actor John Abraham Starts Filming New Psychological Thriller Titled Guru in London

Actor John Abraham has no film releases in 2026, but he is getting ready for a busy screen schedule next year with multiple projects lined up. He will star in the action movie Force 3 alongside Harshvardhan Rane, which is scheduled to hit cinema halls on March 19. Following that, he will appear in a different role as former top police officer Rakesh Maria in Rohit Shetty's film Maria IPS.

Beyond those projects, the actor has started filming his next movie in London with the working title Guru. This project is a psychological thriller directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, whose past work includes the films Te3n from 2016 and The Girl On The Train from 2021. John Abraham agreed to do the movie after being impressed by the story concept and the director's vision.

Cast And Production

The movie features a supporting cast that includes Danish Pandor, who is known for his work in Dhurandhar, along with Arif Zakaria and Kitu Gidwani. Guru is a joint production between John Abraham's company, JA Entertainment, and Authum Entertainment. Authum Entertainment is also backing Maria IPS and Rohit Shetty's upcoming 2027 comedy release Golmaal 5, which features a large ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, and Akshay Kumar. Authum Entertainment serves as the film production division of Authum Investment & Infrastructure, and its leadership team includes Sanjay Dangi, Amit Dangi, and Divy Dangi.
