Former Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane and his wife, Radhika Dhopavkar, have revealed details of their new five-bedroom holiday home in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. Named Raaya Estate, the luxury retreat sits amid hills and a lake. The couple shared a video tour of the property on YouTube through Stay Vista on September 11, 2026. The estate was built after the COVID-19 pandemic as a private space where Rahane could relax away from his cricket schedule and his children could run free. Rahane wanted an elevated house with open spaces, modelling the feel of childhood summer holidays at his grandmother's home. The property features five king-size rooms, an infinity pool, a gazebo, and balconies that overlook the Sahyadri mountain range and Vaitarna Lake. It also includes manicured gardens, a children's play area, and an in-house bar. The living room sits on the elevated first floor and has two sections. One area offers morning views of Vaitarna Lake and the mountains for tea, while the second provides a cosy sitting space for evening rest and naps. All bedrooms use natural, neutral, and earthy tones to promote relaxation, and each connects to a spacious balcony. The villa also contains a dedicated cricket room that showcases Rahane's career. This room holds his bats, balls, caps, team jerseys, and photographs with teammates tied to special memories. Rahane has stated that he gets goosebumps every time he enters this space.
