Music composer Anirudh Ravichander lives in a home in Chennai that combines modern style with traditional South Indian touches. The apartment was made larger a few years after his song "Why This Kolaveri Di" became very popular by joining it with the flat next door.
House Interior
The living room has white floors, bright sofas, paintings, and brass idols that give the rooms a temple-like feel. A traditional wooden swing hangs in the middle of the room. One corner features a photo wall showing fun memories and family milestones, including pictures of Anirudh with Rajinikanth and AR Rahman. Anirudh calls this his favourite spot and joked that sitting there makes him feel like the boss of the house. The expanded part of the apartment includes a home theatre, a small library, and a workspace with a yellow couch.
Personal Space
His bedroom is simple with very little storage because he does not own many clothes. Instead of a standard bed, he keeps a large mattress directly on the floor. His background in the film industry includes being the son of actor Ravi Raghavendra and the nephew of superstar Rajinikanth. He has composed music for major films like Jailer and Leo, and also sang for projects such as RRR.
Context
Celebrity home tours offer fans a rare look into the personal lives and living spaces of popular film stars and artists. Many artists in the South Indian film industry live in Chennai, which serves as the primary hub for Tamil language cinema and music production.
