The upcoming spy comedy film Udta Teer is scheduled to release on October 23. The Central Board of Film Certification cleared the movie with a U/A 13+ rating after the makers completed one major visual cut. ## Censor Board Changes The censor board asked the makers to remove a shot that showed blood on the Indian map. To cover up this removal, the board directed the team to make the previous shot longer. Additionally, the filmmakers had to add the 'Smoking Kills' warning in five separate scenes. An anti-liquor text disclaimer was also added to a scene that shows drinking. The film contains no changes to its dialogues or action scenes. The final run time of the movie is 137.41 minutes, which equals two hours, seventeen minutes, and forty-one seconds.

Cast and Crew

The movie features a star cast including Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, and the late Mukul Dev. Akash A Kaushik wrote and directed the project. Several producers backed the film, including Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta through Dharma Productions, alongside Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain under Sikhya Entertainment.

Plot Details

The story follows a Pakistani spy who enters India secretly but loses his memory. He then starts to think he is a true Indian patriot, which creates total chaos and madness.

Context

Film certification boards regularly review movies before public release in India to ensure content aligns with age ratings and statutory warning guidelines. Such adjustments to visuals and disclaimers are a routine part of the final clearance process for commercial cinema.
