BJP Gathering

BJP leaders Manoj Tiwari and Shivesh Kumar met at Tiwari's Delhi residence on Saturday. Both leaders share roots in the Purvanchal region. Tiwari praised Kumar, who recently became the national president of the BJP's SC Morcha, and noted his family's long association with the party. Kumar responded by saying Tiwari started his party journey as a booth in-charge in the village where Kumar's family has ties going back to the Jana Sangh days.

PM Modi Speech

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at an NGT international conference on Saturday. He shared data points on India's work in renewable energy and climate action, covering solar energy capacity and emission prevention. He humorously asked the lawyers in the audience to pay attention to the numbers, telling them these figures might help them someday, which drew laughs from the judges, lawyers, and bureaucrats present.

Luthra called the application unfortunate and preposterous, noting the judge had to deal with the bias issue first before hearing the case. The court eventually rejected the application.
