Varmora Granito pulls in ₹212.4 crore from anchor investors ahead of ₹708 crore IPO

Varmora Granito raised ₹212.4 crore from anchor investors on Monday, just a day before its planned ₹708 crore initial public offering. The firm allotted 1.43 crore equity shares to a pool of seventeen funds. Goldman Sachs and ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund were among the lead participants in the placement. Bandhan Mutual Fund and Bharti AXA Life Insurance also took up a portion of the shares. The fundraising moves the company closer to the capital it aims to raise through the public issue. By securing anchor money early, Varmora Granito hopes to signal strong demand to retail and institutional investors ahead of the IPO launch.
