CBSE announced it will organise fresh Class 12 board exams for students in seven West Asian nations who were dissatisfied with marks awarded under a special assessment plan created after war‑related cancellations. The countries affected are Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, covering 40 subjects that include 20 academic papers. On March 27 the board issued the assessment plan, and on May 13 it released results for regular candidates from those nations alongside other Indian and overseas students. Private candidates from the same regions later received results under the same plan. The scheme allowed any student unhappy with the outcome to sit for exams in subjects that could not be held earlier. CBSE now says it will conduct those make‑up exams for all such candidates in the previously cancelled 40 subjects. Students may pick the subjects they wish to retake, and the new scores will be final, replacing the earlier ones. Details of the exam date and timetable will be shared after application forms are received. Eligible candidates must submit forms themselves; no fee will be charged and exam centres will stay the same. The board will not provide post‑result services for this round.
