CBSE Starts Online LOC for 2027 Class 10 Exams on Sept 24

LOC submission for the 2027 CBSE Board examinations opens on September 24, 2026 and closes on October 21, 2026, according to the official notice on cbse.gov.in. The first round applies to Class 10 students taking the February‑March board exams and must be completed by all candidates. Schools will enter candidate details, including full name, date of birth, gender, category and parents’ names, then upload each student’s photograph and signature in the required format. Subject‑wise registration must follow the prescribed scheme of studies. For Class 12, students must confirm they passed Class 10 from a recognised board by the end of the 2025 academic year before submitting their LOC. The LOC for Class 12 special exams in West Asian countries begins earlier, on September 22, 2026. A separate link will be provided for private and second‑chance compartment candidates. After an LOC is submitted, the board will not accept changes to subjects, admissions (except transfers), or concessions for children with special needs. Candidates and teachers are advised to review the full notice on the CBSE website for any additional details.
