Bihar Delays Teacher Recruitment Sign-Ups to Late September

Registration Dates

Bihar Public Service Commission has delayed the registration process for the fourth phase of its school teacher recruitment exam. The online sign-up window will now open on September 25, 2026. Job seekers can submit their online applications until October 26, 2026. The final deadline to complete fee payments is set for October 25, 2026.

Vacancies and Fees

This hiring drive aims to fill 32,388 vacant posts for school teachers in the Bihar Education Department under Advertisement Number 15/2026. Out of these total openings, 3,847 posts are set aside for classes one to five, while 8,563 positions are for classes six to eight. Another 3,877 seats are meant for classes nine and ten, and 16,101 posts are allocated for classes eleven and twelve. Applicants must pay an application fee of one hundred rupees through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Candidates applying for more than one teaching category must pay separate fees for each category they choose.
