IBPS Announces 2026 PO Prelims Results and Opens Scorecards Online

IBPS has released the 2026 Probationary Officer prelims result on its website. Candidates can view their scorecards at ibps.in between September 23 and September 30, 2026. The prelims paper consisted of 100 objective questions worth 100 marks, to be answered in 60 minutes. The subsequent main exam contains 170 questions carrying 200 marks, with a 160‑minute duration. Wrong answers in both tests attract a negative marking of 0.25 marks per question, while unanswered questions incur no penalty. The recruitment drive aims to fill 6,715 PO vacancies across participating banks. The announcement was reported by Papri Chanda, deputy chief content producer at Hindustan Times Digital, who has over a dozen years covering education and exam news.
