The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has released the NEET PG 2026 scorecards on its official websites, nbe.edu.in, natboard.edu.in, and cdn3.digialm.com. Candidates can access their scorecards by logging into the candidate portal using their application number and date of birth or password.

Exam Details and Turnout

The exam took place on August 30 in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm. It was conducted in computer-based offline mode at 1,111 centres across 339 cities in the country. A total of 2,65,980 candidates appeared for the exam overall, while 2,63,535 candidates completed their test on the main exam day. Technical glitches at the iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura Centres in Jaipur disrupted the test for some students, prompting the board to hold a re-examination on September 5 for 2,416 affected candidates in Jaipur.

Answer Keys and Cut-Offs

For the first time, the board will release answer keys along with candidate response sheets on or after October 1. The release will include Question ID numbers, response IDs marked, and individual scores for each question. Individual scorecards can also be downloaded on or after October 1. The board has not yet clarified if an objection window will be provided after the answer keys come out. The category-wise cut-off scores out of 720 and qualifying percentiles are set at the 50th percentile with a score of 262 for General and EWS candidates, the 45th percentile with a score of 244 for General PwBD candidates, and the 40th percentile with a score of 226 for SC, ST, and OBC candidates, including PwBD candidates from these groups. Candidates who clear these cut-offs can aim for admission to NBEMS Diploma courses. State or union territory administrations will generate their own final merit lists for state quota seats based on their own rules and reservation policies.
