CBSE Expected to Release Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2027 Tentative Date Sheets This Month

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the tentative date sheets for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for 2027 this month. While the board has not yet announced an exact release date, last year the tentative schedule was published on September 24 and the final timetable came out on October 30. Once the schedule goes live, students can view it on the official website at cbse.gov.in.

Important Details and Rules

The upcoming date sheet will provide subject-wise examination dates, names, codes, timings, and important guidelines. Through a circular issued on September 21, the board confirmed there will be no changes to the assessment scheme or passing rules. Students must score at least 33 percent marks in each subject and in total to pass the board exams. Certain subjects will be graded by school authorities using a five-point scale from A to E based on continuous school assessment.

Sample Papers and Registration

For the 2026-27 academic session, the board has already published sample question papers and marking schemes on its academic portal at cbseacademic.nic.in to help students understand the exam pattern. Meanwhile, the online list of candidates submission process for schools started on September 24 and remains open for regular submission until October 21, 2026.
