Singer Talat Aziz Plans Return Home Next Year After Mumbai Fire

Veteran ghazal singer and actor Talat Aziz lost treasured possessions, paintings, and musical instruments in a fire that broke out at his home on October 2. The blaze gutted the ground floor and parts of the first floor, leaving Aziz and his family hospitalised and facing heavy losses.

Restoration

Now staying at a friend's apartment, Aziz says the family has started repair work and hopes to return home by January or February next year. He praised his wife, Bina Aziz, and his sons for staying strong while coping with the situation.

Gratitude

Aziz thanked a close friend living abroad who offered them a place to stay, along with many other friends who offered help. The 69-year-old actor, who played Hrithik Roshan's father in the 2024 film Fighter, said the family is grateful to escape without any injuries.

Context
