The contest, themed “Beat the Heat: Cool Homes for All”, asks teams of two to four to study why houses get hot, learn basic heat‑transfer science and devise solutions using locally available materials. Participants must aim for a 4‑8°C drop in indoor temperature. The competition is split into three age brackets. Explorers (8‑10) observe, sketch and explain their ideas; Junior Inventors (11‑13) build small prototypes, record temperature readings and document findings; Design Engineers (14‑16) add physics calculations, compare local costs and present a final report with a Q&A session. The full innovation cycle – research, idea development, prototyping, testing, documentation and presentation – is covered. Registrations close on September 25, with the first‑level idea submission deadline set for October 10. Finals and awards will be held on November 21, and the winning projects will be showcased at BrainyBotz’s annual AROHA 2026 show in Visakhapatnam. Interested teams can sign up at www.brainybotz.in or reach out by phone at 9391442996 or email team@brainybotz.in.
