Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi play rival dating app founders in upcoming Netflix series

Netflix released the trailer on Friday for the Tamil web series titled #Love, starring actors Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi.

Plot and Creators

In the show, Aishwarya plays Tara and Arjun plays Matthew. They are single people who run rival dating apps. Tara runs an app named FOUND that matches people based on personality compatibility. Matthew runs an app called Find My Bae that relies on raw chemistry. Both run successful businesses helping others, but their own love lives are a mess. Tara challenges Matthew to a bet he cannot refuse. As they take the challenge, they fall for each other, which is the one thing their algorithms failed to predict. The series also touches upon friendship, family, and ambition. Soundarya Rajinikanth produced the series and Balaji Mohan directed it. Nirmal Williams wrote the show, with Sharada Subramanian and Shweta Chakravarty serving as co-writers.

Aishwarya said Tara felt close to women she knows in real life, describing her as emotionally layered, ambitious, and hardworking. She added that working with Arjun came easily and praised the direction of Balaji and the vision of Soundarya. Arjun stated that Matthew is stubborn about chemistry, calling him a hopeless romantic hiding behind a chill exterior. He praised Aishwarya's wit and warmth. The series begins streaming on October 2 on Netflix.
