SS Rajamouli wants to direct a movie in Hollywood soon

Top director S.S. Rajamouli stated that he wants to direct at least one movie in Hollywood. He spoke about this during an interview at the 50th Sao Paulo International Film Festival taking place in Brazil.

Future Plans

Rajamouli said that he received many offers from Hollywood after the release of his film 'RRR'. He could not take them up because pre-production work for his next project 'Varanasi' had already started. He explained that he cannot work on two or three projects at the same time and only shifts focus to a new film after finishing the current one. He also mentioned that he still has much to learn and that some offers are still available. He plans to consider them seriously after completing his ongoing project.

Context

International film festivals often bring global filmmakers together, giving directors a platform to discuss their future creative ambitions and cross-industry projects. Rajamouli remains one of the most prominent names in Indian cinema following the worldwide success of his recent works.
