Several major Indian companies and public sector undertakings are scheduled to announce their financial results for the quarter ending September 2026 alongside dividend decisions this week.

Company Lineup

REC, Supreme Industries, Dalmia Bharat, DCM Shriram, QGI Finance Limited, Mazagon Dock, Gravita India, Tanla Platforms, Siyaram Silk, and Sundaram are among the firms preparing to release their second-quarter results for the financial year 2026-27 and consider payouts. Other prominent names holding meetings include Vaibhav Global, Sasken Tech, Coal India, Laurus Labs, Godrej Consumer, Sanofi India, CARE Ratings, Symphony, Varun Beverages, and NTPC.

Market Decline

Meanwhile, Indian stock markets closed lower on Friday. The Nifty 50 dropped 0.39 percent to end at 22,600 points, while the Nifty Bank fell 1.10 percent and the Nifty Midcap Select decreased by close to 2.20 percent. The BSE Sensex dipped 0.17 percent to close at 73,123.83 points. Over the course of the week, the Nifty 50 lost nearly 2.36 percent and moved closer to its 200 weeks exponential moving average. Dr. Ravi Singh, Chief Research Officer from Master Capital Services Ltd, noted that selling pressure was visible across all sectors except IT and that the overall technical structure remains weak.

Key Levels

According to Dr. Ravi Singh, the immediate support level rests near 22,300, and a decisive drop below this zone could push selling further toward the psychological support level of 22,000. On the higher side, the 22,850 to 22,900 range acts as a key resistance area that coincides with the 21 days exponential moving average.

Context

Corporate earnings reports and dividend announcements often draw strong investor interest because they provide clear insights into company health and cash flows. Broader market trends, such as technical support and resistance levels, help traders gauge future price movements during periods of high selling pressure.
