The upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 250 has been spotted at a dealer facility wearing a red-dominant colour scheme, according to automotive enthusiast Sahil Sagar via Rushlane. This follows earlier sightings, including a black-and-red model in July 2026 and its initial global debut in white at EICMA 2024.

Design Details

The fully-faired motorcycle features white graphics on the fairing, a white front mudguard, black tank inserts, side panels, black alloy wheels, and black mirrors. It retains the projector LED headlamp, boomerang-shaped DRLs, fairing-mounted winglets, a tall transparent windscreen, a sculpted fuel tank with Karizma lettering, a raised tail section, a split-seat layout, and gold-finished upside-down front forks.

Engine and Performance

The bike is expected to use the same 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the Xtreme 250R. This motor outputs 30 horsepower at 9,250rpm and 25.3Nm of torque at 7,500rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The hardware package also includes a trellis frame, a rear monoshock, and disc brakes at both ends equipped with dual-channel ABS.

Launch and Pricing

Hero has not yet announced an official launch date or exact pricing, but the appearance of a production-ready unit at a dealership suggests a release is close. For comparison, the Karizma XMR 210 starts at Rs 1.86 lakh and the Xtreme 250R is priced at Rs 1.84 lakh. The new 250cc model is expected to sit above both around the Rs 2 lakh mark.

Context

All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Upon its release, the Karizma XMR 250 will compete against rivals such as the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, the KTM RC 200, and the Yamaha R2.
