Financial Results

For the September quarter, the firm reported a 6% drop in consolidated net profit to ₹324.4 crore. A one-time exceptional item of ₹96.76 crore related to SEBI settlement proceedings impacted the bottom line. Revenue from operations grew 21% to ₹796 crore from ₹658.1 crore a year ago. Total assets under management increased 14% to ₹8.68 lakh crore by September 2026, with the mutual fund segment growing 20% to ₹7.87 lakh crore.

SEBI Settlement

The SEBI show-cause notice issued on August 30, 2024, alleged non-compliance regarding mutual fund investments in Yes Bank Additional Tier-1 bonds. After SEBI accepted settlement terms, the company remitted ₹7.68 crore for settlement amounts and ₹89.08 crore for management fees earned on the investments, plus interest.

Context
