Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer 2 has crossed the Rs 400 crore net mark in India, becoming the highest-grossing Tamil film of all time.

According to trade data from Sacnilk, the Nelson Dilipkumar-directed action entertainer collected Rs 9.45 crore net in India on its twelfth day from 10,450 shows. This brings the total India net collection to Rs 408.15 crore, while the domestic gross stands at Rs 477.85 crore. The worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 733.35 crore, with overseas collections adding Rs 255.50 crore.

Regional Performance

The Tamil version led the collections with Rs 5.65 crore net from 4,518 shows. Telugu brought in Rs 2 crore, Hindi contributed Rs 1.40 crore, and the Kannada version added Rs 40 lakh. Occupancy rates on Monday showed a standard weekday slowdown, with Tamil at 25.1 percent, Telugu at 24.2 percent, Hindi at 11 percent, and Kannada at 32 percent. The film had previously hauled in Rs 334.35 crore in its first week after releasing on October 15 during the Dussehra festive season.
