Context
Coastal regions of India frequently experience severe cyclonic storms during the pre-monsoon and post-monsoon seasons, requiring extensive advance preparation by disaster management authorities. Precautionary measures such as deploying response forces, releasing emergency funds, and securing fishing boats are standard protocols used to minimize loss of life and property during extreme weather events.
