Match Suspension

All Stars Football Club has stopped its regular Sunday football matches for now due to serious security worries following an attack on actor Tiger Shroff. The club called off its practice game planned for October 25 as a safety measure. Founder Bunty Walia stated that games will stay on hold until proper safety steps and official advice are put in place. The group does not have a set date for when the weekly matches will start again.

## The Shooting Incident

On the evening of October 18, 2026, unidentified attackers fired multiple bullets at Tiger Shroff's car as it drove away from a football ground in the Juhu area of Mumbai. The actor avoided direct bullet injuries, though a video released by his team later showed he suffered skin burn injuries. His driver was shot in the hand and a bystander was also hurt, prompting Shroff to take his wounded staff member to Nanavati Hospital. The club is frequented by other stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, and Kartik Aaryan.

## Police Probe and Online Warnings

Mumbai Police started a wide investigation across multiple state units, leading to eleven arrests so far, with detectives checking for ties to organised crime groups including the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff's team issued a warning about fake news and artificial intelligence videos spreading online, and denied reports that the actor gave a statement to the police. The team threatened legal action against anyone sharing false narratives for views or money.

## Context

Celebrity safety at informal sports gatherings and public spots often draws sharp focus when violent threats emerge in big cities. Film stars frequently join amateur sports leagues for fitness and recreation, making venue security a major challenge for organisers. Police investigations into such targeted attacks usually look closely at organised extortion rings to trace who ordered the strike.
