Royal Enfield has released its first official teaser for the upcoming Himalayan 750, pointing directly to Milan, Italy, through map coordinates on a promotional poster. The teaser confirms the adventure motorcycle will make its global appearance at the EICMA 2026 event, scheduled from November 3 to November 8. According to Rushlane, the company previously showcased a non-camouflaged version of the bike at the Himalayan Base Camp and Himalayan 440 launch event, while a commercial shoot in Uttarakhand also revealed key details.
Features and Design
The Himalayan 750 is expected to be the brand's most tech-forward motorcycle. It will likely feature cruise control, traction control, ride-by-wire, adjustable suspension units, and dual front disc brakes alongside a rear disc. A significant change from existing models is the switch to a 19-inch front wheel instead of a 21-inch wheel, paired with a 17-inch rear wheel. Spy shots from the TVC shoot showed the bike with both alloy wheels and tubeless-compatible cross-spoke wheels, while four color options including green and maroon were spotted. Additional touring gear includes a tall windscreen with a central opening, stepped seating, a rear luggage rack, and soft panniers.
Engine and Market Context
The new adventure tourer is expected to use a larger-displacement engine based on Royal Enfield's existing 648cc parallel-twin architecture, which currently powers seven different motorcycles. Earlier estimates suggest an output around 55 bhp and 60 Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. According to Rushlane, this launch could help strengthen Royal Enfield's larger-capacity portfolio, where above-350cc category volumes fell 26.04 percent year-on-year to 12,463 units in September 2026. Following its Milan debut, an Indian launch at Motoverse in Goa next month remains a possibility.
Context
Adventure motorcycles are designed to handle both paved highways and rough off-road terrain, making them popular choices for long-distance touring. Major international auto shows like EICMA serve as key platforms for manufacturers to unveil new global models to enthusiasts and media. Royal Enfield continues to expand its footprint in the mid-size and larger displacement motorcycle segments.
