Physical Clash

Reality show Rise & Fall Season 2 has hit the internet headlines just two days after its premiere following a major fight between contestants Shehzad Poonawalla and Siwet Tomar. A new promotional video shows the two in a heated verbal argument that reportedly turns physical. Online reports are now claiming that Siwet has been removed from the show due to violence.

The Trigger

The trouble started in the penthouse when contestants were asked to pick someone who cannot become the ultimate ruler. Shehzad named Siwet, stating that Siwet blindly trusts Karan Patel. Siwet reacted angrily and accused Shehzad of seeking support to stand against Swara Bhasker, while also calling him a sewak. The argument worsened when Shehzad brought up Siwet siding with Swara despite earlier claiming he would not speak to her until she apologized for her remarks on Rajput women and the Jauhar scene in Padmaavat. Towards the end of the promo, Swara steps between them and tells Siwet not to hit Shehzad.

Show Details

Hosted by Virender Sehzag, the show premiered on September 26 and airs daily at 12 pm on MX Player and Prime Video. It features 15 contestants split into Rulers living in a penthouse and Workers handling tasks without basic luxuries. The cast includes Gautam Gulati, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Tej Pratap Yadav, Shehzad, Karan Patel, Kaira Anu, Niharika Tiwari, Raj Grover, Anish Bhagat, and Sara Gurpal.

Context

Conflict between participants often drives high online engagement and social media discussions around these programs. The show format creates a distinct social divide between the ruling group and the working group to build ongoing dramatic tension.
